The Freshest Class 2013: UPXUNDR

Representing the anchor leg of this feature is UPXUNDR (pronounced ‘up and under’), a brand that does well by taking your run of the mill silhouettes in baseball jerseys and tall tees, and leveling them up to stylish, fashion forward pieces.  They do this well by applying crucial levels of taste, creativity, and a subtly sophisticated nuance that gives nod to craftsmanship and quality over everything.  Think of the perfect blend of high fashion finesse with a jolt of streetwear attitude and you get what Jovin, Jon, and Jun of UPXUNDR are furnishing to an understandably eager following.  Click through to learn more about this Freshest Class 2013 alumni.

The Freshest Class 2013: UPXUNDR

Who makes up UPXUNDR:  Jun, Jovin, and Jon

Hailing from:  Los Angeles, CA

The brand’s message:  Be creative, improvise, and maneuver.

The style of product UPXUNDR offers:  We offer high quality, redefined silhouettes with athletic and military undertones.

The challenges of coming up:  Doing a complete cut and sew line can be challenging. All specifications need to be up to par with our designs. Pattern making and sampling can be a trying process. But detail is key to our brand and we endure this process to put out exactly what we envision.

Some accolades or milestones that UPXUNDR have reached so far early on:  Being featured on Complex Magazine and Four-Pins so far have been pretty memorable and something we’re proud of.

What you’d like people new to your brand to know about you:  All our garments are cut and sewn in Los Angeles, CA.

How UPXUNDR plans on keeping their momentum up:  We’re always going to strive to push out quality garments that keep those who’s attention we’ve captured to continue coming back and capturing the attention of those who haven’t taken notice yet.

What’s in store for the future:  A full collection and wider distribution worldwide are definitely in our sights for the near future.
