The PROJECT Tradeshow will once again command attention in Sin City. Each year the production crew seem to be on a mission to top their last show, and this year is no exception.

Buyers, brands, media, and the word’s most fashion forward individuals will flock to Vegas for MAGIC Market Week. We’re excited to see our favorite brands this year, but one thing that has already stood out for us is the introduction of PROJECT MVMNT.

“PROJECT MVMNT is taking an entirely new approach to showcasing youth culture,” says Kenny Mac, Show Director. Mac is most known here in Los Angeles by his company Creative Contraband. The 5th Element Magazine have attended many of their “Behind The Hustle” series, which always leaves the audience inspired. Mac adds, “By creating expertly merchandised segments we are supplying brands and buyers with an experience that’s ahead of the curve and filled with resources.”
Within PROJECT MVMNT, attendees will be able to experience two segments: Clique and Street Hearts. Clique will feature a group of top streetwear brands that are both the creators and forecasters of trends seen in the street and skate culture. Some of the brands featured will be Crooks & Castles, Diamond Supply Co., Black Scale, 10 Deep, Rocksmith and Staple. These are some of hip-hop’s favorite brands and we have already seen rappers wearing their most exclusive pieces.

Street Hearts will be an area dedicated to the female designers in the streetwear industry. Expect these ladies to showcase some innovative styles that will soon catch on in the future. BOTB, HLZ BLZ, Love+Made, Coco & Breezy, and Melody Ehsani will be represented at Street Hearts this season. As Jay-Z would say, “Ladies is pimps too.”

Tommy Fazio, president of PROJECT Tradeshow, gave us his thoughts on the new PROJECT MVMNT debut. “PROJECT MVMNT aims to clearly emphasize a global trend in the youth culture business. We are looking forward to working with new and exciting brands such as Diamond Supply, En Noir, Stamp’d LA, Gourmet, Android Homme, 10 Deep, and Crooks & Castles this season.”

PROJECT will run from February 19th to the 21st in Las Vegas, Nevada. Please visit their official website for more info.
