Miguel Coming to Los Angeles for “Bud Light Music First” Event

Miguel will be coming to LA for the Bud Light Music First event

Bud Light is celebrating music all summer long through Bud Light Music First, a new program that brings one-of-a-kind music experiences to consumers across the country. The program culminates on August 1, with Bud Light’s “50/50/1”, presenting concerts in all 50 states on a single day, and Bud Light is bringing Miguel to Hollywood Palladium to help Los Angeles wild out this summer.

Residents in Los Angeles and surrounding cities can win tickets to the 50/50/1 event – as well as more than 500,000 music-centric prizes – through the Bud Light Music First app, available through the Apple  and Android app stores.

Besides Miguel, other talented music acts such as Metric, Ludacris, NEEDTOBREATHE, Chevy Metal, The Faint, North Mississippi Allstars, Flogging Molly, Blackberry Smoke, Dr. Dog, JJ Grey & Mofro, Colt Ford, Pepper and Kenny Wayne Shepherd will be a part of the Bud Light Music First 50/50/1 event, joining an eclectic lineup that already features Kendrick Lamar, Sublime with Rome, Alex Clare and The Flaming Lips.  As part of 50/50/1, each artist will perform in a different city on Thursday, Aug. 1, flipping the traditional music festival on its head by bringing the show to the entire country with a dedicated performance in each state.

Additional artists performing in 50/50/1 include Emeli Sandé, Drive-By Truckers, The Gaslight Anthem, The Airborne Toxic Event, The Dirty Heads, Capital Cities, Citizen Cope, Coheed & Cambria, Gogol Bordello, Mastodon and Machine Head, Halestorm, Under the Sun Tour, Guster, The Mowgli’s, Minus the Bear, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Best Coast, Frank Turner & the Sleeping Souls, Wavves, The Hold Steady, Corey Smith and Portugal. The Man.

This definitely sounds like an interesting premise, with good tunes, good brew and good company all rolled up into one outstanding event planned this Summer.

Richard "Reach" Guinto

Reach loves the Lakers, breakfast, the sound of a Fender Rhodes, and rapping along word for word to Wu Tang's "Triumph." If you're looking for him, he's probably out getting chicken.
