HLZBLZ SS14 Collection – “Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die”

It should be no surprise that Hellz Bellz offers such a unique flavor to the fashion world, and its newest collection is no exception. “Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die” is for the women who weren’t born to fit in; they love embracing their individuality and yolo-esque attitude, accompanying it with their own inner weirdness. The collection is for those women who are rare, yet weird AF.

No, they’re not diamonds in the rough, but more like… 14k gold in a sea of pyrite, you feel me?

When most think of summer clothing, we think of light colors, denim short shorts, and loud prints and patterns. Florals for spring/summer? Groundbreaking. “Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die” gives us much more variety to the growing trends of women’s streetwear, offering edgy muscle tanks, bralettes, and tees.

The lookbook, shot by Taryn Anderson aka TeekTheSneak, is fun, bright, and loud, with model Page Ruth offering a contrasting chill and badass expression to complement the looks. “Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die” is clearly not for the basic, and if you’re a baddie, you’ll probably be ringing Hell’z Bellz and ordering the new collection now, available online at HLZBLZ.com

Christina is a writer based in Palm Springs, LA, and any place with WiFi. She graduated from UCLA and currently attends USC because she's a traitor and loves being in student debt. She hopes to be the next Carrie Bradshaw with better hair (sorry SJP), and when asked to describe herself in one word, she chooses the word, "indescribable." Don't follow her on Instagram because you'll hate how extra she is and you won't want to be her friend in real life.
