Once just a kid from Chicago, Vic Mensa’s career has gone from 0 to 100 the second he and Kanye shared oxygen. With the precipise of Kanye’s “So Help Me God” to drop any day now, any Kanye news is considered huge news, and with evidence of Vic Mensa working with him so closely coming to surface these past few months, Vic reaps from the Kanye hype benefits. But don’t take that to mean he doesn’t deserve it either. The 21-year-old rapper’s verse on Kanye’s “Wolves” adds a counter balance of rapid fire rhymes to Kanye’s own bold stylings, and that same feat leads the way in Vic’s latest song, “U Mad,” which he premiered at a Chicago party over night. Running right alongside “All Day” in banger territory, the song is all horns, heavy bass and the two Chicagoans trading verses of rap endeavors and exploits. Hit the jump to catch a video of the full premiere, and keep it locked for when the full studio version is released.
