New York Street Dancers Tell Their Story in “Hitters” Documentary

Visitors to the concrete jungles of New York City will encounter the energetic street shows that bring life to the streets. These rauccous and often comedic routines attract wide- eyed spectators, as passerby just can’t help but get caught up in the festive crowd. The street dancers today are the modern day breakdancers, which were entertaining on the same streets in the early 80’s. “Hitters” is a new documentary directed by Scotty Carthy, a poetic ode to the everyday hustles of the New York b-boy culture. The musical collaboration of Ghostface Killah and BADBADNOTGOOD’s “Sour Soul” plays as the dope soundtrack to the film. Watch, enjoy and share.
