Peep This: Migos Performs “Hannah Montana” With a Full Orchestra for a Trap Symphony

Coming off a brief bout of legal trouble (though Offset is still behind bars) Atlanta group, Migos, teamed up with AudioMack to present “Trap Symphony,” a performance backed by a full orchestra. In the beginning of the set, it sounds like the idea of doing an “acoustic” set via a classical touch was all Quavo and Takeoff’s idea in wanting to take their music back to its roots sans a beat machine and with real instruments. It’s been a while since we’ve seen the terms ‘hip-hop’ and ‘acoustic’ strung together in the same phrase, but coming from the guys that coined the term, ‘trap musical,” with their “Bando” video premiere, a trap symphony by Migos doesn’t come as much of a surprise. Watch them perform “Hannah Montana” and look for the full performance to be released later this week by Migos: purveyors of trap, the breakers of barriers and bridging the gap between the streets and theater.
