Recap: Be Street Weeknd LA

When the Parisian urban magazine, Be Street, announced their takeover of the City of (hipster) Angels, we thought they would release a few issues here and there. But they did something else that wowed the notoriously picky L.A crowd: throw a massive weekend party. The folks at Be Street managed to create a two-day fun-filled festival that basically embodied the typical Angeleno: street art enthusiasts, fashion obsessed consumers and trendsetting music specialists.  This city is charged up and its residents are blessed to be surrounded by some of the best people in art, music and fashion. We couldn’t miss this opportunity to see the West Coast version of “Be Street Weeknd” and they definitely did not disappoint. Soulection DJ’s kept the music bumping in the warehouse, artists like Chocomoo and Aaron Kai were doing some sick live painting and many brands set up pop-up shops throughout the different areas. Hit the jump to see Be Street’s photo coverage and if you didn’t make it to this one, we highly suggest you don’t miss the next.
