Peep This: FADER – “Down to Start a Riot, a Vic Mensa Documentary”

For the first ever Fader video cover story, they take us into Vic Mensa’s world of SAVEMONEY and Chicago to shine a little light on who Vic was before he was selling out shows, headlining festivals and crawling around stages at New York Fashion Week with Kanye West. These types of stories are certainly the best ones; more intimate than a VH1 Behind the Music indulgence done in real time, director Aaron Brown treads the same streets as a young Vic did and plunges into the depths of SAVEMONEY’s concepts that the rapper so rightfully encapsulates and projects onto his fans. Watch the full video for glimpses of Vic in the studio and full interviews from all of Vic’s cohorts.
