Street Artist Tristan Eaton Announces “Legacy” Solo Exhibit in Los Angeles

Internationally recognized street artist Tristan Eaton is set to unveil his new work in an upcoming exhibit titled “Legacy.” Presented by Library Street Collective, a contemporary and fine art gallery from Detroit, this new exhibit will be Eaton’s first US show in almost a decade. Those familiar with Eaton’s past work will recognize his style of classic Americana references and characters that portray a particular era. In “Legacy,” the artist delves deeper into themes of family, tradition and his personal life. Taking a cue from his father’s love of learning someone’s life stories, Eaton conducted audio interviews of a select group of people which served as inspiration for the new pieces. These interviews can be heard from his website and are made to accompany the show.

“The people that came before me made me who I am, and I intend to pass along their stories and strengths by creating this ‘time-capsule’ of an exhibition that honors their legacy and preserves their stories for generations to come.” – Tristan Eaton

The solo exhibit will be open to the public from November 7th – 14th, 2015 inside Subliminal Projects.

1331 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA
