Michael from The Wire is on to some buzz worthy projects as of late – better known as r&b singer Mack Wilds, he can be seen in Adele’s latest music video for her hit, “Hello,” and also on VH1’s The Breaks. Drawing inspiration from his time filming The Breaks, Mack presents us with a nostalgic trip to the 90’s in the latest music video for his single, “Love in the 90z.” What’s more, the video draws added inspiration from Spike Lee’s timeless film, Do The Right Thing.

“Love in the 90z” is an infectious and promising lead single for Mack’s upcoming second album, with accompanying visuals that take us back to the simpler days of macking – where Jodeci ballads and cupcaking on the phone preceded Netflix and chill and DM thirst.
