It’s always a party when The Internet’s around, and for the “Special Affair” visuals, Syd and the gang switch up the turn-up into a slow burn. Black and white sets the mood at first, but once the video flips itself unto “Curse” and a rotating scheme of role reversals, the band becomes bold and hi-def. Each turn of the camera switches band members from one instrument to the next, preparing viewers for the reversal of “Palace/Curse.” After we’re treated to a smoky interlude for “Palace,” before revealing Tyler, the Creator to spit his “Curse” verse, kickin’ the never-ending party back into high gear.
