The self-proclaimed Trap Lord from the eclectic rap collective A$AP Mob is set to drop his newest album Always Strive And Prosper on April 22nd. It’s been three years since he released a full album, so fans are sure to cop that quick on pre-order. In late January, he dropped the single “New Level” which featured Future. It’s a rowdy trap song perfect for the Hollywood clubs on a Saturday night. For the current single “Let It Bang” we get more of Ferg’s storytelling flow, reminiscent of some throwback Wu-Tang Clan type of vibe. And while you ponder what that might sound like, check out the video he dropped for the single and you’ll understand. The visuals follow Ferg’s memories of his uncle Psycho and the crazy sh*t that went down in and around the streets of Hamilton Heights, New York in the 90’s. He also brought Schoolboy Q into the track, who added his own story to the single. You’ve got to give props to Ferg for rocking the vintage Wu Wear varsity jackets, though.  If you’re going to emulate the iconic rap group make sure you come correct.
