Weekend Visuals

Catch up with the trending hip-hop and R&B videos that dropped this week.

This past week saw a surprise visual album release from Frank Ocean titled Endless and a music video for his tribute track “Nikes.” The wait for new material may finally be over, but we have yet to see a Boys Don’t Cry album. Dawn Richard, who now goes by “DAWN,” released an animated visual for her track “Cali Sun” and apparently gained a slight British accent. Jay Worthy and Sean House as LNDN DRGS dropped a West Coast G-Funk era vibe inspired video for their joint “Burnout 2.” Not sure how we feel about KPop singer CL using lines from a Wu-Tang Clan classic, but there’s a cameo from Method Man so we’ll assume it’s his stamp of approval. YG, G-Eazy, and Macklemore released a politically-charged video for their remixed banger “FDT Part 2.” Tory Lanez stays busy as one of the most consistent underground artist, he recently dropped a visual for a track off The New Toronto mixtape.
