North Face’s latest is “concrete jungle-proof”.
The North Face has been providing outdoor goods and apparel for almost 50 years, continuously crossing lines of utility, style and terrain. Now, the brand takes their official trek into streetwear territory, which they aren’t completely unfamiliar with, but the North Face’s gateway was always Supreme. It’s time for them to take the solo hike and they embark into that foray with the latest Urban Exploration concept shop in San Francisco.
Located on Sansome St. in the city’s Jackson Square neighborhood, the shop is aimed toward the city explorer and modern urbanite with protective gear from down jackets and button-ups to parkas and beanies. The collection will also feature a throwback homage to the original North Face daypacks and duffels designs from 1968 and 1978, respectively.
Check out photos of the shop and lookbook below. San Franciscans can start visiting the shop now, and New Yorkers can check out the 5th Avenue location starting on Oct. 13.
