“The Tribe be the best in they division”

After teasing a trailer earlier this week, legendary hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest ushered in the weekend with a full music video for their song “We The People.” To put a visual for MC Phife Dawg’s verse, his image was animated with the iconic Tribe stripes. Rapper Busta Rhymes also makes a quick cameo in the video.

The visual mirrors the political protests that are happening in major cities across the nation. ATCQ choosing “We The People” as their first single is another reason why this album is long overdue and what hip-hop has been missing.
