LA Men’s Market is back with their annual show inside the California Market Center in Downtown LA. Red aesthetics dawned the hallways leading into the show with a well-curated collection of men’s brands lining the aisles, showcasing new fall/winter ’17 and spring ’18 products. Evident trends of clean aesthetics and well constructed canvas-like materials for fall and winter was apparent throughout the show. Below are a few brands we thought hit these specific trends head on.
Hashtag turned creative agency and brand #TeamCozy showcased a hooded all-purpose trench with a crisp and minimal logo on the back to keep its clean aesthetic.
Team Cozy came ready with various choices in knitwear and heavier cotton pieces ready for another cozy fall and winter season.
Viven is an Orange County, California-based streetwear and lifestyle brand who’s mantra of leisure and relaxation is evident in their designs. The brand showcased a camo parka perfect for the West Coast’s not-so-harsh fall and winter seasons but could still be used as a great layered piece for an East Coast drop in temperatures.
Danish rainwear brand Rains not only presented their core collection of rubber raincoats but also came in with backpacks that truly complimented their clean designs and collection.
One brand that didn’t keep it as safe as the other’s was Brownstone. This young and new Los Angeles-based brand came with the heat and delivered an amazing collection entitled “The World Won’t Listen,” which included this amazingly detailed stitched bomber jacket.
Overall, LA Men’s Market was a great and very well organized show and, as I mentioned before, curated some great brands for the buyers that attended. I’m looking forward to watching the show progress and to see which of the show’s brands propel to an even higher level.
