In the visual for “Drew Barrymore,” a standout track from Ctrl, SZA takes us through a series of different situations. For the most part, she’s happily roaming the city with her friends. But it’s her thoughts when she’s alone that accurately define the video, singing “I’m sorry I’m so clingy I don’t mean to be a lot. Do you really wanna love me down like you say you do?” Love, youth, insecurities, regrets, and longing for answers.
