Fresh off his win at the recent BET Awards, today the TDE rapper repping Compton, CA dropped a cinematic visual for his track “ELEMENT.” from the critically acclaimed album DAMN. K.Dot took home the Best Male Hip-Hop Artist award from last Sunday’s show and also joined Future on stage during the “Mask Off” performance. A quick note, Kendrick Lamar had previously taken home this coveted award in 2013 and also in 2015. Watch his new visual below and you’ll see why he definitely deserves every award given. The violent themes are more prominent and hits harder on this video compared to his last two. But the artistic direction and cinematic edits keep the video from being too brutal, keeping the focus primarily on the lyrics. “ELEMENT.” was directed by Jonas Lindstroem and the little homies, a directing alias that K.Dot coined on with Dave Free (president of TDE).
