Finding the perfect pair of sunglasses shouldn’t have to break the bank, and fashion industry vets Monica Lin and Kiona Stowers are here with the solution.

The gorgeous duo are the women behind the new LA-based women’s eyewear brand, Eyelust, where every girl will be able to buy fashion-forward, designer quality sunglasses at an affordable price. After meeting as colleagues working for the streetwear brand Popular Demand, the two women built an incredible friendship while obtaining invaluable knowledge and experience about the  industry. As two hard working women, they had little time to find sunglasses that were trendy, well made, and at a modest price-point. This issue presented the opportunity to create their own line of designer eyewear, Eyelust.

Over a year in the making, Monica and Kiona launched a Kickstarter campaign for the brand earlier this month with great reception. In it, they describe the long process of researching materials and finding the perfect manufacturer for their line. The ladies’ extensive background in fashion definitely comes into play, so you know you are guaranteed a product that not only looks good, but is built to last.
