The lineup keeps looking better.
It’s been 7 years since the rap-alternative trio N*E*R*D released their last album Nothing. Since then, Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Shay Haley went on to do their own projects. Although fans wanted to hear new material, the months turned to years and all we hoped for was a reunion concert. Luckily the skateboard Gods came through. This coming November will see the second annual ComplexCon music and arts festival in Long Beach and they’re bringing some very special friends.
This year’s hosts are a well-rounded group of celebrities which include Pharrell Williams, Takashi Murakami, Virgil Abloh, Jaden Smith, J Balvin, and Sarah Andelman. I expect lots of creative works and installations throughout the floors, even more than last years! The musical lineup is enough to get us excited though, with acts ranging from M.I.A., Gucci Mane, A$AP Ferg, A-Trak, Young Thug, DRAM and more. And then, of course, it wouldn’t be a Complex event without inviting the latest and greatest from the streetwear/fashion realm. Ready for the ticket info?
