The DJ/Producer sat down with Guitar Center to discuss her music and surgery.

TOKiMONSTA recently opened up to the community about making music again after dealing with a rare brain disease called Moyamoya. After completing a surgery that had to be done, the musical artist lost motor function and the ability to listen to music. It took months of recovery and healing until she was able to find a sound that she knew represented her. Watch TOKiMONSTA’s interview with Guitar Center below where she discussed her miraculous healing journey.

And get this, as soon as she got her sound back together, Coachella 2016 was the first festival she performed at after surgery and recovery.
