Jam On It: Tom Misch – It Runs Through Me

Featuring the iconic hip-hop group De La Soul.

London singer Tom Misch recently shared a jazzy, hip-hop-infused track “It Runs Through Me” featuring De La Soul, lifted from Tom’s forthcoming debut album, Geography, dropping on April 6th via Beyond The Groove / Kobalt Music Recordings. Premiering on Beats 1, the song is now available to stream above on SoundCloud. As a longtime fan of the hip-hop group De La Soul, Tom was ecstatic to team with the trio.

“The concept of this track is sometimes how I feel about my relationship with music…it’s something that has always just flowed through me and almost feels like my superpower. You can take away my money and house etc but can’t take away my relationship and love for music. The De La Soul feature was the icing on the cake for this album…I’m a massive old-school hip-hop head and this collaboration just felt really good.” – Tom Misch

Misch also revealed the tracklisting for Geography, noting additional features from GoldLink and UK soul singer Poppy Ajudha, in addition to previous revealed tracks “Water Baby” featuring UK Rapper Loyle Carner and “Movie” with additional vocals from Tom’s sister Polly Misch.
