Last week, Los Angeles hosted the annual e3 convention, where you can find the latest information on the upcoming video game releases and see the top athletes within the eSports realm. There was plenty to see and so many games to test out at alongside many major announcements coming from the top brands in the industry.
This was a huge three days in Los Angeles. American eSports team FaZe Clan hosted an incredible e3 afterparty in the Hollywood Hills at Yamashiro, with the help from digital commerce platform Wanderset, Hollywood Sports, and television brand TCL, who gave away two of their televisions at the event.
Fortnite, the battle royale game that’s taking over the world, had a huge e3. They hosted the Fortnite Pro-Am which brought in 50 Fortnite players from all parts of the world and 50 celebrities who partnered up with the players to play for charity. It was only right that many of the Fortnite players showed up to the FaZe e3 afterparty. Fan favorites, such as Myth, Pokimane, Valkyrae, and Alexia Raye were in attendance.

Many FaZe members and social media personalities also packed the beautiful restaurant overlooking Hollywood. The team has grown in popularity exponentially over the past couple years. Starting off as a small gaming group, then becoming some of the biggest YouTube personalities in the world, it is incredible to see how far they have come. These days, the members of FaZe who have made it big on YouTube are arguably known just as much for their lavish lifestyle as they are for their gaming. FaZe members have gotten into streetwear and high fashion as their popularity has risen. They are often seen rocking items from Supreme, Gucci, and Yeezy and it’s inspiring to see how their work ethic has helped them to achieve their goals.

This is possibly the biggest year ever in eSports and with more companies catching on, like YouTube and ESPN, the rise in popularity doesn’t seem like it’ll be stopping anytime soon!
