This past week, Music Tastes Good threw a two-day festival encapsulating two of the world’s most enjoyable consumptions – music and food. Taking place right by the water, the humble festival brought the young and old together with a lineup that truly catered to everyone.
Chefs from around the country brought some exclusive dishes for guests to try out at “The Taste Tent.” Alongside the various gourmet dishes, multiple food trucks and food booths were also spread out across the festival grounds. All the delicious food was an aspect of the festival that made it stand out from the rest.
Not only was it easy to take in the food, but it was also easy to take in the music. The grounds had two stages – one at each end, which was very accessible. The people in attendance made the crowd experience amazing. A more mature audience gave a more respectful vibe and it felt as if people were genuinely there to enjoy themselves. There were definitely less phone cameras in the air during performances. It was definitely a different crowd than usual festivals and it felt refreshing.
Janelle Monae, James Blake, Joey Bada$$, and New Order were just some of the amazing artists who took the stage over the unforgettable weekend.
Can’t wait to do it again next year! Be sure to visit https://mtglb.co/ for updates!
