Combining elements of soul, jazz, hip-hop, and lofi.
The Bay Area collective, Peach Tree Rascals, have been on our radar for about a year now. So consider this your quick intro to the crew, if you haven’t already started following them.
“Violet” was one of the first joints we heard from the group, a unique sound that mirrors the soulful vibes of Frank Ocean, Mac Miller, and The Internet. Every song we heard from the group afterwards never disappointed us.
“Summa” was released in the middle of Summer 19’s Cali heatwave and proved to be the perfect hip-hop anthem for cruising down PCH or at the backyard pool parties. “Plus” was also added to our Summer playlists.
The five-piece collective includes producer/mixer Dominic “Dom” Pizano, rappers/singers Isaac Pech, Tarrek Abdel-Khaliq, Joseph Barros, and creative director Jorge Olazaba. To stay up-to-date on the crew, follow them on Twitter and SoundCloud.
