Shawn Serrano, or better known as Shawn Wasabi, dropped his first album Mangotale today.

Now available for streaming, Filipino-American musician Shawn Wasabi released a 12-track album that includes featured artists raychel jay, Tia Scola, SATICA, Spacegirl Gemmy, and many more.

Earlier this week, he highlighted the tracklist via some nostalgic games that many of us used to play (or are still playing) as an interactive storyboard. Or in this sense, listening to each track as you play through different stages.

Shawn Wasabi has definitely established his own unique sound by making music samples with ordinary objects, such as a game controller, various fruits, and even tapioca pearls.

Mangotale is a culmination of Wasabi’s many viral music moments and showcases his skills as a producer. The new album takes every listener on a journey of uptempo beats from familiar games, this is apparent as you go through the catchy track titles such as ‘Halo Halo’ and ‘princess peach’.
