Following up from their first collaboration, ROKIT takes on Converse‘s Pro Leather Ox Lows.

After ROKIT’s first successful collaboration with the iconic footwear brand Converse on the Chuck 70’s, Los Angeles’ own ROKIT puts its spin on the Converse Pro Leather Ox Lows.

Bringing the basics back to the blacktop, ROKIT takes the iconic basketball silhouette while staying rooted in Converse’s lifestyle. Converse x ROKIT Pro Leather Ox will be available globally on Converse.com and select retailers beginning today on Thursday, July 16, 2020. “With the silhouette’s premium construction, high-quality materialization and monotone color palettes, the team integrated subtle, nuanced elements from retro, on-and-off court designs – like its patent leather accents and covert details – to animate the sleek design. Built on a semi-transparent midsole, the patent and natural leather blend through subtle stitching to create a white monotone upper, which hosts bold orange color pops seen in ROKIT’s brand color palette. The Pro Leather’s gold foil brand stamp typically stamped on the lateral to honor the original model, is personalized with a ROKIT insignia, and the Star Chevron logo is reworked as a nod to the ROKIT logo. To finish the look, the silhouette hosts a graphic sockliner and a 15mm wide lace.”
