The super short mini sound clip had the word “shirt” in the lyrics, so I guess that was the easiest word to use for hashtags? Anyways, 2021 was the second year of quarantine and boredom, so of course, the TikTok folks created some sort of upper body/ hand movement-ish choreography to a microscopic sound bite.

Fast forward to almost 2 years later and we are finally getting the full song and a music video. It’s great, no really, it’s great. But, 2 years? I already forgot the song existed. And are we ever getting the follow-up album to CTRL?

In true SZA fashion, the end of this “Shirt” music video teases a new unknown song. So get ready for another wave of TikTok dances to flood your FYP. I’m calling this new song “Dole Whip.”
