Any mention of Los Angeles and cognac, and only one thing can come to mind: Tupac. Exactly how many times did he rhyme “Hennessy” with “enemies,” I don’t know, but the point is, the cognac’s association with Makaveli and his enemies have stuck. Out in New York City, however, Hennessy apparently has a different association, and one I personally would like to get more acquainted with. Last night, the boys at SoHo’s Fellow Barber collaborated with the cognac and styling agency Thomas Faison to put the drink back into more dapper hands by providing a private men’s grooming event. From straight razor shaves and haircuts, gents, including New York Giant Victor Cruz, were given the five-star treatment complimented by a variety of Hennessy-inspired summer mixed drinks and pairings from Chef Max Hardy. Hit the jump to catch photos from the event and get in on the gentleman’s club with a few of Hennessy’s summer drink recipes.
