Most of Adidas’ products are manufactured in Asia, so in an effort to pay homage to their roots, the brand releases its signature Stan Smith and forerunner ZX500 OG in rich black suede and dubbing such as the “Made in Germany” pack. The off-white soles, eyelets and piping details on the ZX500 is a nice contrast against the stark black, in a release that proves the beginning of Adidas’ effort to bring their manufacturing back home. The shoes will come in an exclusively black box with gold stripes and set to release on May 23rd in Europe.
