New album KOD out now.
Dreamville rapper J. Cole had been quietly working on his newest album and we knew it was going to be good but we weren’t ready for how amazing it turned out. Each track demands the listener’s full attention as J. Cole’s lyrical talent is one of the best in the industry. Many hip-hop fans are already calling it one of the best albums of 2018 and we definitely agree. While there are a handful of standout tracks on KOD, songs like “Photograph,” “ATM” and “1985” are probably going to receive the most plays. Which rapper is J. Cole talking about on “1985?” We have a few guesses. But let us know in the comments below who you think the song could possibly be directed to.
KOD is available now to stream so be sure to open your music app this weekend and give the album a listen. The album’s release today also came with a music video for the track “ATM” which you can watch below. The trippy visual displays the dark side of always “chasing that paper” and is a clear warning for those who hustle on a daily.
